Need a TMP?
In some instances to secure council approval, your development proposal will require a TMP (Traffic Management Plan). A TMP is a report that assesses traffic impacts on the local road network created by the construction of a development.
Our planners will develop a site specific TMP incorporating TGS’s, a Vehicle Movement Plan (VMP) and a Pedestrian Management Plan (PMP), as required for the planning of your works. We create our TMPs with an emphasis of minimising delays and inconvenience to motorists and other road users or interfere with traffic during of heavy traffic flows. The report must adhere to Local Council Standard requirements and describe the proposed construction works, the traffic and parking impacts on the local area and how to address these impacts.
The preparation of a detailed Traffic Management Plan (TMP) and the proper implementation of all the measures identified in the approved plan is essential to ensure the safety of all road users, as well as the workers at site. The TMP would also assure the smooth operation of the road network as well as the work site.
